With the ultimate goal of bringing the final Redemption and the revelation of Moshiach,
the world leader of the Chabad Lubavitch movement, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson,
has instituted an international network of diverse educational and social programs that have
rekindled the hearts of millions of Jews.
Inspired by the Rebbe, and with the Rebbe’s blessings, Rabbi Moshe Chaim
and Doba Levin have opened their hearts and home to thousands of immigrants from the former
Soviet Union, as well as American and Israeli Jews.
From the very beginning, Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington has been more than just a
“Shul,” a place to explore the 3000-year-old Jewish heritage and tradition, or a welcoming
home in which to enjoy a delicious Shabbos meal. For many of our brethren,
Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington has become the gateway to an authentic Jewish
way of life and continued spiritual growth, a place where every Jew is assured of a
warm initiation into the family of Klal Yisroel .
